MEET JESSIE AYANI

Jessie's natural tendencies towards self-sufficiency and independence have supported her through single motherhood, the pursuit of a PhD in medical science, the study of many alternative medical systems, and her passionate embrace of the spiritual work. She sees the world through both the lens of science and the lens of spirituality as evidenced in her approach to teaching and writing.

While continuing a lifelong study of metaphysics, she began exploring Earth-based spirituality with the Ojibwe Elders in Minnesota while on the faculty of the University of Minnesota Medical School. That sparked an interest in shamanism, which she explored through anthropology and humanistic psychology-based studies. Then, traveling to Peru and meeting the Q'ero elders in the high Andes changed the course of her path. She realized that Earth-based spirituality was a legitimate path to enlightenment after being in the company of Don Pasqual, who became her spiritual mentor.

Defining a legitimate Earth-based spiritual path to enlightenment has dominated Jessie's work for the last 15 years. With the publication of the Awakening and Healing the Rainbow Body Companion Guide and the last Deep Trance Shamanic Journey CD in the Awakening series, the path of self-mastery is, for Jessie, well defined and simplified. It is at one with the Ascended Master path of self-observation and self-correction - quite in keeping with that spirit of self-sufficiency Jessie personifies. She will published a second volume of the Companion Guide, which will guide the transcendent step into the Upper Astral that is the hallmark of self-mastery.

And then? In Jessie's "sight" is the next series of books and CDs, which will guide our full transcendence into the heart, fifth dimension. Beyond that is a series to guide the mastery of energy - the realm of the Magi. These publications are meant to help guide the ascension process for humanity, though, typically, they are taken up initially by those who ride the leading edge of that wave. Hence, there timing is inextricably linked to that process. There are also two more fiction books in the Lineage series. These books have a timing that Jessie cannot control. They have much to do with what is happening on the outer and inner plane of the Earth. The third book, The Priestess and the Magus, is under way.

Jessie lives on North America's Holy Mountain, Mount Shasta in Northern California, where she is an avid gardener, cook, nature and dog-lover. Her greatest joy is to see the light of God-awareness in the eyes of those who hear the truth she speaks. Her greatest teachers are those share their lives in circle with her. Holding space for their awakening and healing is a service that fires her heart.

MEET JANINE THOMPSON-STOKELL

Janine is a certified teacher of the Awakening and Healing the Rainbow Body series of workshops. She has had a lifelong interest in the truths of existence and the unfolding of human consciousness. Her journey as an early childhood teacher, social worker and practitioner of various healing modalities has gifted her a compassionate respect for each individual's personal journey. She recognizes life as her greatest teacher.

She has worked with and supported Jessie in Victoria, Australia for over 6 years with logistical and administrative skills and product sales. Janine has always held a heart-centered link between Jessie and her students and facilitates community-style gatherings to further this spiritual work. She moves into the role of a highly qualified teacher with ease and grace - and Jessie's blessing and support.

Janine is actively involved in living and further exploring anthroposophy and conscious parenting and is cofounder of Gaia's Song, an Australian business committed to furthering conscious living, radiant health, family and planetary well-being. She as been assistant and substitute teaching in the Ballarat Steiner School Prep class.

Janine feels blessed to be the mother of two great young teachers, 8-year old Nicholas and 4-year old Chiara, and to be sharing her journey with them and her partner John. They live in country Victoria where their souls are fed by the peaceful surrounds and the truths spoken by mother earth.

MEET TRISH COUPER

Trish, a successful singer and musician for over 35 years, lives at beautiful Coolum Beach in Queensland with her 10 year old daughter Zoe. She is the mother of 3 amazing daughters, Jessica 32, Carly 26, and Zoe. Trish has been coordinating all Sunshine Coast workshops for a couple of years now, and stocks Jessie's books and CDs for purchase.

She has recently added to her musical skills by working at a school on the coast in education support. That has sparked an interest in education. Currently she is back studying at the Queensland Griffith University, Conservatorium of Music studying Vocal Pedagogy. This training will enrich an already blossoming career teaching singing. She has set her intent to open her own studio in the future to help others find their voices. Trish still performs on weekends.

As Trish says, "this work is so basic and real. It has given me tools to take me onward and build what I need for my growth and to hopefully help others along the path. My goal is to become who I truly am, to be able to fulfill my mission here on "the Mother" because I know that when I clear my life, the load becomes lighter for everyone around me and the collective."

MEET ALISON FORTES

Alison lives in Piha, New Zealand with her partner Anthony and their two children, Emmanuelle aged 7 and Elio aged 6.  She works in the Information Technology Industry, recently returning home to Spiritual Path, studying Shamanic Healing, Reiki and ThetaHealing.

Upon reading The Lineage of the Codes of Light she reconnected with the many truths that she had known since Childhood and so the connection was made to Jessie and Awakening and Healing the Rainbow Body.  Alison co-ordinates all New Zealand workshops, as well as stocking all products for purchase.

MEET CHERIE EDWARDS

Cherie is the Maiden of Middle Earth, living in the hills between TeAwamutu and Kafia with her husband Paul, who farms the land, and her children Ramika, Shanti and Terirta. Her eldest son, Tomati is chef, living in Hamilton.

Cherie coordinates the circles in the Hamilton area and is a healer herself. She offers energy healing sessions and specializes in New Zealand essences.

MEET EMMA CASAPIA SALAS

Emma is our office manager. When you call Heart of the Sun it is quite likely that you will talk to Emma about your book order, class registration or trip plans. When she is not working in our office, Emma is working in Mount Shasta at Jon Thomas Fine Jewelry where she happened to meet Matilda, the python wrapped around her in this photo.

Emma is an avid flower gardener and loves living on Mount Shasta. She moved to Shasta from Minnesota a year and a half after Jessie did to help out with the business. As the publishing business grows, Emma finds more challenge and reward in keeping orders filled, reprinting schedules and advertising. She likes to travel back to Minnesota to visit friends and also to Kauai for some winter fun.

Oh yes, Emma is also Jessie's daughter.

MEET NEDDY THOMPSON

Neddy has worked for 36 years as a sex, family, and group psychotherapist in a variety of clinical settings. Most recently, she also headed the mental health team in a nine clinic, multi-specialty medical group. Her training has been extensive in both traditional psychology and advanced mind/body interventions such as EMDR and subtle energy healing systems that include Qigong, Reiki,
and Three Heart Balancing.

She met Jessie many years ago while participating in a shamanic medicine wheel that lead to sacred journeys both in this country as well as Peru and Scotland. The shaman’s path of mastery in tracking energy has served to enhance all of her professional and personal life activities.

Neddy is happily married with two sons and six grandchildren all of whom live nearby. She loves historical novels, golf, opera, Van Morrison, and landscape painting. She no longer enjoys housekeeping though she loves a tidy house.

MEET KATHLEEN HELLER

Kathleen Heller has researched and taught since 1971, exploring the feeling and functional experience of the individual body, the psyche, relationships and energetics. She has a Masters in Communication and PhD in Lifestyle from More University where she was Associate Professor in the Sensuality Department for 18 years. Kathleen's movement work spans ballet to boxing with fluid Continuum movement as a bridge. She currently practices and teaches Hellerwork in Mt. Shasta. CA.
